NAPLES, Fla. (Feb. 8, 2017) – London Bay Homes has accelerated its model home program at Mediterra in response to buyer demand for move-in ready residences in Naples’ 10-time Community of the Year. The builder, which currently has seven single-family luxury villas and custom estate homes in various stages of construction, has another seven starts planned for 2017 and five model homes now open for viewing.
The 19 model homes – 14 new and five existing – are part of London Bay Homes’ collection of custom estate and luxury villa homes available in Mediterra. Reflecting the builder’s attention to detail and customization, the homes will offer an array of lifestyle options, including expanded lanais with resort-inspired living areas, studies, butler’s bar, wine cellars, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, outdoor kitchens, porticos and trellises, arbors and other architectural elements.
“I think this year, more than ever, a number of homebuyers are realizing they want a move-in ready home without compromising upscale appointments and designer touches,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes, which manages all new home construction sales and marketing for the community. “These homes embody luxury living and connect with homebuyers desiring a home the reflects their personalities and tastes.”
The homes also will showcase London Bay Homes’ industry-leading emphasis on outdoor destination spaces, with design elements including award-winning pool and spa designs.
Featuring interior designs by award-winning Romanza Interior Design, the new model homes will be located in five Mediterra neighborhoods, including London Bay Homes’ newest Caminetto enclave.
“It’s a big year for us. Introducing Caminetto was a unique opportunity to reinforce our commitment to environmental stewardship in Mediterra by blending 15 homesites into a nature preserve and creating floor plans that seamlessly integrate into the environment,” said Wilson. “Coupled with our robust building schedule in several other neighborhoods, we are also ramping up construction in Caminetto with two models that will showcase our custom home features, such as a garden shower and yoga garden situated off the master baths.”
Wilson said the models reflect new trends that align with the vision of luxury homebuyers.
“Our clients today have higher expectations,” he said. “They are well educated in all aspects of design, architecture and style. They know what they like, and they know quality when they see it.”
In addition to the two models in Caminetto, three maintenance-free luxury villa homes are under construction in Lucarno and Cabreo. The homes are situated near the signature Parterre Garden, the community’s largest neighborhood park with formal gardens, lake views, sitting areas, and a large reflecting pond with decorative stone frog waterspouts.
In the village enclave of Lucarno, London Bay Homes is building the newly introduced Palmero model home. The Bettina and Clara, offering four and three bedrooms, respectively, are under construction in Cabreo.
Two model homes are underway in Cortile, a neighborhood of single-family estates and maintenance-free villas. They include the newly introduced Catalina and Sardinia floor plans.
Models open for viewing include the recently completed Capriano models – one in Lucarno and one in Cortile. The maintenance-free Caprianos each offer four bedrooms, studies, four full baths and second-floor lounge areas with wet bars and large sundecks. Their open floor plans meld great room, dining area and kitchen, and flow through pocket sliding glass doors to outdoor living, dining and kitchen areas.
Cabreo offers two furnished model homes now open for viewing. The three-bedroom, three-bath Angelica includes designer finishes and accents of burnt oak, crimson and oak throughout its 2,810 square feet of living space. Shades of blue and taupe against white and beige backgrounds emphasize the relaxed contemporary design of Cabreo’s Bettina, a 3,110-square-foot model featuring four bedrooms (one shown as a study), four baths, a dining room and built-in cabinetry.
London Bay Homes’ fifth open model is the four-bedroom, five-bath Isabella, a two-story home in the Serata neighborhood. Interior elements include a transitional design, travertine and wood flooring, and a palette of white, neutral gray, black and teal. Overlooking a lake, the model’s outdoor areas include an award-winning pool with dancing streams of colored water emerging unexpectedly from the pool deck.
Wilson said the model homes – priced from $1,330,000 to $4,295,000 – are available for sale with financial incentives to purchase on leaseback. “Buying during construction locks in current home prices and provides the homebuyer with the opportunity to enjoy the community’s amenities now.”
London Bay Homes is also offering new homebuyers the exclusive opportunity to purchase a golf membership in The Club at Mediterra without the delay of what otherwise is approximately a one-year waiting list.
Renowned for its golf experience, featuring 36 holes of Tom Fazio-designed golf, Mediterra offers two championship courses woven into nature preserves, lakes and wetlands. Membership opportunities are limited to just 450 members, allowing for abundant tee times and readily available access to the community’s Golf Learning Center, short game practice complex with three greens, and a staff of certified PGA professionals.
With more than 1,000 acres dedicated to open space, parks and nature preserves, Mediterra also offers the 32,000-square-foot Club at Mediterra, the recently expanded Sports Club with fitness center and spa treatment rooms, and the private Beach Club along the Gulf of Mexico. From epicurean cuisine and beach concierge services to bocce and tennis, the community’s luxury lifestyle and continued introduction of new amenities has repeatedly been recognized as the best in Southwest Florida – and internationally.
A leading homebuilder and developer in the Southwest Florida luxury home market for more than 25 years, London Bay Homes offers homes priced from $1 million to more than $7 million in Mediterra.
