FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 1, 2017) – London Bay Homes has selected an award-winning design team for Grandview at Bay Beach, its luxury 11-story high-rise on the southern tip of Fort Myers Beach. Romanza Interior Design and Clive Daniel Home will create interiors for two model homes while Interior Design Associates will furnish and finish the building’s club level amenities and public spaces. Innovations Design Group has also partnered with London Bay Homes on the design of the outdoor spaces and landscaping, including the pool area and event lawn.
“This is a great team of professionals, who share our vision for Grandview,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes, named America’s Best Builder by Builder magazine. “We’ve been very pleased with their initial designs and concepts that capture the island contemporary style of the building, and the elegant lifestyle only a select few will enjoy in this one-of-a-kind waterfront location.”
The partners’ preliminary plans feature cohesiveness among spaces and the natural influences of the building’s setting overlooking Estero Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, mangrove-fringed islands and Lovers Key State Park. They also showcase Grandview’s floor plans and its resort-inspired amenities through its outdoor entertainment area, “The EL,” a reference to the tower’s brand tagline, elevated waterfront living.
The model homes will feature a relaxed contemporary design highlighting the layered vistas of land and water from Grandview’s penthouses on the 11th floor. The models will demonstrate the flexibility of the tower’s 58 residences and the high level of finishes and luxury appointments. Floor plans offer sunset and sunrise terraces and large expanses of glass that create a see-through transparency.
In Residence 1104, Romanza’s award-winning team of interior design professionals has enhanced the views with a great room that features a long curving wall of sliding glass doors opening to a terrace, capturing a floating-in-the-sky design. Clean-lined furniture featuring rectangular and oval shapes has been curated to enhance the openness of the residence. Romanza has also selected a palette of light ivory, camel and gray backgrounds accented with soft teals and dark wood tones.
Clive Daniel Home will introduce wood flooring throughout most of Residence 1106 to emphasize the open floor plan between great room, dining area and kitchen. A subway-tile accented wall will offer a built-in linear fireplace and TV; the kitchen island will feature a waterfall countertop. The design team has created a color palette of grays and ivories punctuated by slate and marine blues.
The colors and textures of nature and sophisticated coastal design created by Interior Design Associates in Grandview’s sales center will continue into the building’s two-story lobby, club room and interior amenities. Interior Design Associates will also repeat sleek contemporary elements that echo the building’s island contemporary architecture created by Bob Hall, of Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects.
Grandview’s elevated amenities level, The EL – located on the second floor – will feature cerulean blue, citrine green and turquoise accents in the club room, which will offer several seating areas with contemporary styled furniture, glints of silver and dark undertones.
The tower’s amenities will include a fitness center with a yoga studio, men’s and women’s changing rooms, a catering kitchen serving a large lanai and outdoor bar, and two fully decorated guest suites.
Designed for residents to enjoy Florida’s outdoor lifestyle and connect with nature, Grandview’s elevated alfresco areas brush against mangroves and display Estero bay views. Covered and open decks will offer fire pits, a pool and spa, four lighted tennis courts, barbecue grills and an elevated entertainment area.
Innovations Design Group, an Orlando-based landscape architecture and master-planning company, has designed the lawn to showcase the views through glass panel walls, and provide multiple gathering spaces, including seating around a central fire pit and under a pergola. The lawn will also provide a circular grassy area and raised landscaping contained by low walls that double as seating. Palm trees and tropical vegetation will meld mangroves and the event lawn, with only the glass walls separating the two.
The final tower in Waterside at Bay Beach, Grandview will offer three-bedroom, three-bedroom-plus-den or four-bedroom designs with 2,400 to 2,900 square feet of living space. Kitchens will feature designer cabinetry and appliances, freestanding island breakfast bars, walk-in pantries and adjoining dining areas.
Grandview’s six penthouses will offer 11-foot ceilings, sunrise and sunset terraces and private two-car parking garages with storage.
All residences include individual foyers from the elevators, affording the privacy of a single-family home with the convenience of maintenance-free living.
Located on a peninsula extending into Estero Bay and only two miles from the secluded beaches of Lovers Key State Park, which is known for its wildlife sightings, shelling and dog beach, Grandview offers 1.2 miles of walking and jogging paths adjacent to an expansive private open space. Waterside’s array of activities and amenities include additional swimming pools, tennis courts, a fishing pier, beach access and several nearby marinas. Boat slip resales are also available.
The Grandview sales center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Located at 4530 Bay Beach Lane, the Grandview sales center is just seven miles north of Bonita Beach Road.
