FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. (Feb. 28, 2017) – With views showcasing the natural beauty of London Bay Homes’ new residential tower on Fort Myers Beach, the sales center for Grandview at Bay Beach will provide visitors with an initial preview of the luxury lifestyle offered at the final tower in the gated Waterside condominium community.
The on-site presentation center was designed by Jennifer Glass, president of Interior Design Associates in Nashville, along with founding principal Bonnie Manson, senior vice president and principal Juan Borda, and their design team.
The space is currently under construction and expected to open in mid-March. It will feature colors and textures inspired by nature and a design style Glass describes as “very current and comfortable.”
London Bay Homes announced plans for Grandview in January. Offering views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Grandview is located on the southern tip of Fort Myers Beach, two miles north of Lovers Key State Park.
The 11-story building features modern architecture designed by Bob Hall of Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects of Tampa, and offers 58 three- and four-bedroom homes with 2,300 to 2,800 square feet of living space. Six exclusive penthouses with sunrise and sunset lanais will offer 11-foot ceilings and a private, two-car garage with storage per residence.
“Grandview at Bay Beach is an exciting project for us,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes, which has been named America’s Best Builder by Builder magazine. “We have an incredible opportunity to create a truly special lifestyle experience for buyers who want the level of customization, finish and luxury appointments of a London Bay home, while also enjoying the freedom of condominium living.”
The sales center will offer video presentations on 85-inch LED TVs, murals and interactive displays depicting the tower’s lifestyle, amenities and residences. It features a palette of cerulean blue, citrine green and turquoise accents set against backdrops and textures that mimic sand, stingrays and weathered driftwood.
Glass drew her inspiration from Grandview’s surroundings – the Gulf, Estero Bay and the mangrove-bordered coastline of the Waterside peninsula.
“The outside is brought inside and acknowledges that you’re near the water,” Glass said. “You walk in the center and there’s a richness conveyed in the finishes and furnishings. It’s a sophisticated coastal design that’s very welcoming.”
The sales center features an 11-foot long arching wall of tempered-glass panels etched with the Grandview logo, a presentation theater, sales offices, a display area and a full-size kitchen. A conference room, featuring a frosted glass table and leather chairs, provides available color schemes and finish options for the residence each homebuyer desires.
The center also showcases the latest interior design styles, including wide format porcelain tile flooring resembling natural-honed travertine, cove and art lighting, and sleek furniture with clean lines and iconic shapes.
“It’s a very open space,” said Glass, who designed each area with furniture and finishes reminiscent of a personal home.
The presentation theater, for example, offers a modern-inspired sofa, egg lounge chairs, dark wood end tables and a glass-topped cocktail table. The center also features bar stools with stingray-inspired upholstery, aqua-topped bar tables, and rich wood finishes and leathers.
The custom-designed reception desk nods to contemporary design with porcelain slab and Plexiglas accents, and warm sapele wood veneer panels.
Glass said the center previews Grandview’s amenity levels,“The building has a two-story lobby that will have fun art and an expansive club room with water views designed as the main gathering space for the community. It will have a bar, card tables and flexible seating areas oriented to water. The sales center offers a taste of what’s planned for the building.”
Grandview at Bay Beach will also offer a yoga studio, fitness center, guest suites with lounges, and men’s and women’s changing rooms. Outdoor amenities include a large lanai, resort-style pool and spa, fire pits with seating, an event lawn accented with a trellis, and a barbecue area.
Residents will also have access to Waterside at Bay Beach’s amenities, including a 55-acre nature preserve with three miles of walking and jogging paths, and four lighted tennis courts.
Named for its bay and Gulf views, the building is just minutes from the island’s top beaches, Lovers Key State Park, arts and entertainment venues of Fort Myers Beach, nearby Bonita Springs, Naples and Fort Myers.
