Isabella Grande model at The Founders Club features coastal contemporary design

SARASOTA, Fla. (Jan. 18, 2017) – London Bay Homes’ Isabella Grande, a single-family model home in The Founders Club, is now semi-furnished and opened for viewing. The three-bedroom, three-bath model features coastal contemporary design, finishes and furnishings selected by award-winning Romanza Interior Design.

The Isabella Grande – an expanded version of London Bay Homes’ popular Isabella plan – has a larger master suite and offers a formal dining room, study and great room within a 3,322-square-foot open floor plan. Multiple rooms and outdoor living areas overlook a lake and nature preserve at The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier golf club community.

The new model features coastal contemporary architecture with low-slung pitched roofs, brackets, painted shutters and a three-car garage.

The design aesthetic continues inside with driftwood finishes, textural grasscloth, vintage and contemporary lighting and furnishings, as well as rustic marble flooring featuring a brushed surface and chiseled edge in a French-patterned installation. Sand and cream backdrops create a neutral background for accents of azure, color-introducing artwork and accessories, in addition to a mix of light and dark woods, silver and glass.

“This combination of a coastal palette and soft contemporary style – along with a mixture of textures, silver accents, earth tone woods and artwork – emphasizes the beautiful coastal palette and creates an interior that captures the best of Southwest Florida’s lifestyle,” said Luann Powers Gliwski, interior designer with Romanza Interior Design.

Volume ceilings and the marble floor enhance the model’s open design, continuing from foyer to formal dining room, great room, kitchen and cafe. Ten-foot sliding glass doors in the great room, cafe and private study open to outdoor destinations, including a patio, living area, outdoor kitchen, and pool deck within a screened enclosure.

The master suite offers dual walk-in closets and features pure white and pearly white finishes paired with taupe-gray. The bedroom has a driftwood-finished wood floor, a millwork-accented ceiling, and a bed wall featuring oversized basket weave-patterned grasscloth inserted between wood planks.

Driftwood finishes continue into the master bath, where they’re paired with ethereal white finishes and light taupe painted walls. Dual furniture-style vanities have a driftwood finish and white marble countertops. The freestanding tub is positioned near a large window overlooking a landscaped area. A wall next to the tub has two windows looking into the double-entry shower, which features a white undulating basket weave tile floor and white tile walls accented by a white marble listello with gray and neutral undertones. The listello pattern is repeated as frames around each vanity mirror.

The designers selected off-white pavers installed in a French pattern to create a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living areas. A grouping of four contemporary-styled chairs are paired with a rectangular coffee table and anchored by an azure rug, almost the same color as the water of the pool and spa. Mosaic tile accents the pool’s waterline and the stair-stepped spillover of the spa; the pool also offers a bubbler feature.

The Isabella Grande offers 4,764 total square feet, including a front porch, patio, outdoor living area and garage, and it is priced at $1,494,779, unfurnished.
