SARASOTA, Fla. (Jan. 25, 2017) – London Bay Homes has accelerated its model home program at The Founders Club in preparation for robust sales in 2017. The luxury homebuilder is breaking ground on three new single-family homes during the first quarter of 2017 in The Founders Club, Sarasota’s premier golf and country club community.

The latest homes will span 3,000 to 4,300 square feet of air-conditioned living space and showcase London Bay Homes’ trend-setting emphasis on expanded outdoor destination spaces designed as private resorts, enhanced open floor plans and exterior architectural style, and award-winning pool and spa designs.

“The Founders Club experienced a discernible upswing in sales toward the latter part of 2016, and we’re already seeing the momentum continue into 2017,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes. “I’m confident the activity will increase as homebuyers return for the winter.”

Historically, sales of new and existing homes in Sarasota priced over $1 million peak in March and April, according to statistics from the Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee.

London Bay Homes has only 67 remaining homesites at The Founders Club, representing the majority of available homesites in the community, which overlook lakes, nature preserves and fairways along the championship golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr.

“Many first-time visitors are simply astounded by the size of the community’s homesites and the intimacy of this close-knit community,” Wilson said. “They get a sense of the beautiful views – as well as London Bay’s commitment to quality and detail – while walking through our decorated models.”

London Bay Homes’ newest model homes will feature enhanced architectural styling details, such as brackets, rafter tails, lap siding, hipped roofs with flat tiles, and crisp window proportions.

Wilson said buyers now have the opportunity to purchase the company’s three completed models and immediately enjoy the community’s active lifestyle. The models are currently open for viewing and offer three and four bedrooms and 3,322 to 4,434 square feet of living space.

They include the three-bedroom Girona, which swept four best-of categories during the 2016 Manatee-Sarasota Building Industry Association Parade of Homes and received the Best Overall Award in its price range. The model represents one of London Bay Homes’ most popular floor plans and was honored for best architectural detail, floor plan, kitchen and master suite. The Girona, priced at $1,986,100, offers a formal dining room, study, home office, great room and breakfast nook within its 3,549 square feet of living space.

The Delfina, featuring transitional Mediterranean architecture with a stately rotunda entry, arches and metal accents, was recognized for Best Curb Appeal. The model has formal living and dining rooms, a study, breakfast nook and four bedrooms within 4,434 square feet. It is priced at $2,178,900, fully furnished.

The Isabella Grande emphasizes coastal contemporary design that complements its driftwood finishes, rustic marble flooring, and palette of cream and sand with azure accents. The 3,322-square-foot home, offered at $1,494,779 unfurnished, has three bedrooms, a study, formal dining room, great room, and kitchen with a cafe area.

London Bay Homes, a leading homebuilder and developer in the Southwest Florida luxury home market for more than 25 years, offers Reserve Collection homes and one-of-a-kind estates ranging from 3,100 to more than 6,000 square feet of living space at The Founders Club. Home and homesite packages are priced from the $900,000s to more than $5 million.

The Founders Club’s amenities are designed to foster camaraderie among residents and a connection with nature. Miles of winding boardwalks and paved walkways meander throughout the community, which is punctuated by palm trees, pines and moss-covered oaks.

The Founders Club is close to Sarasota’s famed Gulf of Mexico beaches, the University Town Center mall, and the acclaimed local restaurants, boutiques, and arts and cultural venues of downtown Sarasota.

Visitors can stop by The Founders Club Sales Center Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 3001 Founders Club Drive, three miles east of I-75 on Fruitville Road, Exit 210.
