London Bay Homes, Romanza Interior Design and Acquatico Pools recently received eight Sand Dollar Awards during the annual gala presented by the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sales & Marketing Council.
The awards honor the best in building, interior merchandising, pool design, website, and the coveted Community of the Year award, given to Mediterra for an unprecedented 11th time.
A private residence and three single-family model homes in downtown Naples and Mediterra earned a combined seven awards.
Romanza Interior Design received top honors for its interior design of the Claremont, one of several custom model homes in London Bay Homes’ Naples Collection created for individual homesites from Park Shore to Port Royal. A palette of ivory, ocean blue, charcoal and mocha, and select midcentury and modern classic furnishings complement the Claremont’s coastal contemporary architecture and interiors.
The home also received top honors for product design, outdoor living area and kitchen. A collaboration between MHK Architecture & Planning and London Bay Homes, the Claremont was designed as the ultimate entertainment home, spanning 5,727 square feet of living space with four bedrooms, a study, an indoor and outdoor kitchen, second-floor recreational area, and seven wine refrigerators/beverage centers.
“MHK has focused much of their business over the last five years in Old Naples, and have developed a signature style that is heavily desired in the area,” said Mark Wilson. “We recognized that MHK understood the market and current design trends as well as the city’s zoning codes, and knew that coupled with our award-winning team of designers, we could create a spectacular home.”
Three single-family model homes located in Mediterra received Sand Dollar Awards for interior design and best master suite. London Bay Homes’ Bettina model was recognized in the single-family home priced from $1.75 million to $2 million category for best interior design by Romanza Interior Design. Taupe, white and beige provide neutral backgrounds for infusions of bright cobalt blue that immediately catch the eye, reappearing throughout the 3,110-square-foot Bettina luxury villa home.
Receiving the top award for interior design for a single family detached home in the $4 million to $4.5 million category, the Catalina model showcases a contemporary aesthetic by Romanza Interior Design that blends rustic and eastern influences, punctuated by Asian-inspired accessories and shapes.
Located in the Lucarno neighborhood at Mediterra, the Capriano model by London Bay Homes was recognized for its master suite. Positioned in the rear of the home for privacy, the suite features a contemporary Zen design referenced in the geometric design of the master suite’s hallway console with a brushed pearl finish – an aesthetic continuing into the bedroom with its light washed-wood dresser, and shagreen accented nightstands on each side of the upholstered headboard encrusted with black nickel nail-head trim.
