London Bay Development Group and Suffolk recently celebrated the completion of Grandview at Bay Beach. The completion of Grandview represents a milestone for Fort Myers Beach and a new era of development as the first residential tower built on Estero Island in 15 years. The celebration included a ribbon cutting ceremony with project partners, community leaders and elected officials.
“We are honored to play a role in being part of the progress of building back Fort Myers Beach,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay. “We’ve worked closely with the town and community members over the last several years to bring this significant project to life, creating over 400 jobs during construction. Grandview is a reflection of the island’s resilient spirit and London Bay’s commitment to bringing continued vitality to the region.”
Grandview showcases Estero Island’s unprecedented close-to-the-beach lifestyle with 58 luxury residences highlighting panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico and Estero Bay. The 11-story tower offers spacious three- and four-bedroom floor plans from 2,400 to over 2,900 square feet under air, sunset to sunrise terraces, exclusive on-site amenities and London Bay’s signature upscale finishes and features designed for all lifestyles. Luxury residences also offer private elevator access, dedicated parking in the main garage and a pet-friendly environment with no weight restrictions. Exclusive penthouses feature 11-foot ceilings and a private two-car garage.
With pricing starting from the $1 millions, Grandview residences offer the unique opportunity of new construction in an area with limited availability anticipated for several years, turn-key designer-furnished options and immediate occupancy in a market where prices are expected to continue to rise. The tower is currently nearly 70% sold.
In addition to Suffolk, one of the largest and most innovative real estate and construction enterprises in the country, London Bay’s builder partners included Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects of Tampa, Nashville-based Interior Design Associates and Orlando’s Innovations Design Group.
Below is a snapshot of the economic impact Grandview at Bay Beach provided to Lee County during the construction phase:
- 400+ jobs during construction
- More than $1 million in total fees paid to the County (including impact fees)
- $1 – 1.5 million in annual tax revenue
The Grandview tower has employed approximately 150 people every day, representing nearly 20 different trades, from concrete and masonry contractors to drywall, painting, and waterproofing contractors.
“We are thrilled to celebrate our continued partnership with London Bay Development Group and the completion of the final condominium tower of the Waterside at Bay Beach,” said Pete Tuffo, President of Suffolk’s Gulf Coast region. “Grandview stands tall as a symbol of excellence, reflecting the spirit of Fort Myers Beach, and it’s an honor for Suffolk to have played a role in the collective effort, creativity and passion that have gone into this magnificent property.”
Grandview also offers three model residences by Romanza Interior Design and Clive Daniel Home available to view by appointment. Illustrating Grandview’s floor plans, they each showcase sophisticated interiors with unique interpretations of the coastal lifestyle.
“The views are the wow factor in every Grandview residence,” said Jennifer Stevens, senior design director at Romanza, whose goal was to highlight affordable luxury design ideas and appeal to the array of personalities represented by Grandview buyers. “We’re showing beautiful interior designs using furniture and upholstery lines with attainable prices.”
Grandview elevates residents’ modern coastal lifestyle with private indoor and outdoor amenities focused on health and fitness, social opportunities and sunsets over Estero Bay. The EL offers a fitness center, yoga studio, club room and elegant two-story lobby with a floating glass staircase. Outdoor areas include a raised spa, a kitchen with barbecue grills and a series of covered and open-air gathering spaces with fireplaces, built-in seating and green spaces.
Grandview is the final building in the private Waterside at Bay Beach community, which offers a resort-inspired pool, walking and jogging paths and additional amenities, including the new Bay Beach Commons planned for pickleball, tennis and bocce courts.
Grandview residents also enjoy the convenience of Estero Island’s nearby restaurants, marinas and boating charters. Situated two miles north of Lovers Key State Park, Grandview is minutes from the world-class shopping, dining, championship golf courses and cultural experiences of Naples.
