The Pembrook, London Bay Homes’ newest single-family model home at The Founders Club, has recently sold. This marks the third London Bay model home sold at The Founders Club in Sarasota this season.
“There has been a lot of interest in The Founders Club, and these model home sales illustrate that,” said sales executive Steve Gibson. “The recent sale of The Pembrook model home maintains the level of momentum started at the beginning of the season, as buyers continue to be drawn to the Sarasota area and discover what’s possible when working with London Bay Homes at locations like The Founders Club.”
Located on almost a half-acre, The Pembrook model overlooks a lake and the community’s Robert Trent Jones Jr.–designed championship golf course. Offering 3,560 square feet of living space, the model home features an open floor plan that provides an easy flow between the great room, kitchen and dining room.
“The buyers were seeking a housing design that was light and bright and had a Florida feel,” said their Realtor, Sheila Pavao with Fine Properties. “The floor plan had to have a ‘wow’ factor but also be functional and efficient for daily living. The Pembrook had that ‘wow’ factor they were looking for and offered a really great livable floor plan.”
The Pembrook’s gourmet kitchen features alabaster painted cabinetry with recessed paneled doors and a large slate gray–stained island, both of which are topped with Pompeii Quartz White Mist countertops. A brick-pattern stone mosaic backsplash in shades of white, gray and charcoal ties everything together.
Multiple boundary-blurring pocket sliding glass doors blend indoor and outdoor spaces, with the great room opening to a covered terrace. A lavish custom pool and spa features a silver pearl interior accented with a Lunada Bay glass mosaic waterline tile in shades of green and blue.
“The buyers really liked the feel of the kitchen,” said Pavao. “Combine that with the large outdoor living area, and this home was at the top of their list.”
The master suite offers access to a sun deck, two walk-in closets and a bath with a custom dove gray–finish and recessed paneled–door vanity topped with Pompeii Quartz White Mist counters. An Imperial Pearl stone floor, freestanding tub and dramatic glass shower enclosure with only partial walls on either side elevate the bath to spa-like status.
On the opposite side of the home, The Pembrook’s two guest rooms feature en-suite baths and walk-in closets. The model home also includes a study and bonus room for individual homebuyer customization. The bonus room’s zero-corner pocket sliders flow to a wraparound alfresco space, which offers living and dining areas and an outdoor kitchen.
Interiors by award-winning Romanza Interior Design create the feeling of a coastal retreat inside the three-bedroom, four-bath home. Crown molding and tray ceilings add sophisticated style to the great room, dining room and kitchen, while hand-scraped and wire-brushed oak flooring in a gray mist finish complements the cool, elegant color palette.
The Pembrook showcases London Bay’s latest architectural designs, which include expanded outdoor features and a welcoming larger front porch.
“The exterior elevation provided stately curb appeal for the buyers,” said Pavao. “And its location overlooking the golf course satisfied their desire for a home with a nice rear view.”
Earlier this season, London Bay sold its Delfina and Girona model homes at The Founders Club. The fully furnished estates also featured interior design by Romanza Interior Design.
“Our model homes really resonate with buyers,” said Mark Wilson, president and CEO of London Bay Homes, who oversees sales and marketing for the community. “Our in-house creative home design team adds great detailing that makes each home unique, and the professionals at Romanza Interior Design create different looks that are classic yet visually appealing and distinctive. The big bonus with a model home is knowing that you can move in and begin enjoying the community’s amenities without any delay.”
An award-winning custom homebuilder and developer in the Southwest Florida home market for nearly three decades, London Bay Homes offers custom estates in the Founders Club ranging from 2,200 to more than 6,000 square feet of living space. An additional model home by London Bay – the 3,322-square-foot designer-finished Isabella Grande – is currently open for viewing at The Founders Club and offers three bedrooms, three baths, a study, a formal dining room and a butler’s bar. The home is priced at $1.49 million. Buyers can also re-create The Pembrook, Delfina or Girona floor plans on another available homesite at The Founders Club.
