London Bay Homes was recently presented 16 Sand Dollar Awards during the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sales and Marketing Council’s annual program, “The Timeless Twenties-Past-Present-Future,” celebrating 32 years of excellence in the construction industry.
The Sand Dollar Awards are the highest accolades given by the CBIA, honoring the best in building, design and more. London Bay Homes received top honors for sales, product and design for homes in Southwest Florida.
London Bay Homes kicked off the awards with the distinct top honor for Sales Manager of the Year awarded to Director of Sales, Michael Veliz. Since joining London Bay Homes five years ago, he channels more than 25 years of sales and executive management experience to consistently lead record sales, even in the face of a shifting market, by focusing on superior customer service, collaboration and communication. Additionally, Veliz successfully promotes camaraderie and staff retention, adding only one new member to the sales team in the last year.
A grand, innovative estate by London Bay Homes at The Estuary – Grey Oaks received top honors for Product Design of the Year, Best Smart Home and Best Outdoor Living Area in the $7 million to $9 million category. In addition, Romanza Interior Design was recognized for Interior Design of the Year, Best Kitchen Design and Best Master Suite. As London Bay Homes’ first solar-powered home, the 6,000 square-foot custom residence, featuring cutting-edge Tesla Powerwalls, pushes the boundaries of solar energy and efficiency without compromising on design. Contemporary architecture, a flowing open floor plan and spacious outdoor living areas are enhanced by expansive windows with sleek automated window treatments and an elevated indoor-outdoor connection. Located in Talis Park, the luxury estate by London Bay Homes received top honors for Product Design of the Year and Best Outdoor Living Area in the $9 million to $11 million category. The residence was also awarded Interior Design of the Year for its stunning interiors by Romanza Interior Design. A collaborative team of building architects, interior designers and landscape architects created a home that’s a true reflection of how the owners live and their love of entertaining. Entertaining havens such as a spacious great room-reception area flow to a bar and lounge area, the kitchen and dining area, as well as an expansive game room with shuffleboard, a full-size arcade game, card and billiards tables. In Port Royal, London Bay Homes’ custom residence was recognized for Product Design of the Year and Best Outdoor Living Area in the $16 million to $21 million category. Additionally, Romanza received accolades for Interior Design of the Year, Best Master Suite and Best Specialty Feature for its exquisite den. This custom model estate, nestled along scenic Doubloon Bay in Naples, was meticulously planned to elevate its stunning water views and outdoor lifestyle. Innovative and thoughtful luxury features like Weiland LiftSlide and Viva Porte glass doors, a boutique Poliform closet and clean-lined furnishings impart an interior aesthetic reflecting the home’s coastal contemporary architecture while ever mindful of elevating its water views and the interplay of indoor and outdoor spaces.
