London Bay Homes and Romanza Interior Design move to larger office space

NAPLES, Fla. (Jan. 13, 2015) – London Bay Homes, a leader in Southwest Florida’s luxury home market for more than two decades, has relocated its corporate headquarters, doubling the size of its former home to accommodate a growing staff and menu of services. The new modern office is at 2210 Vanderbilt Beach Road in Naples.

The new space consolidates homebuilding, executive offices and Romanza Interior Design’s offices under one roof. London Bay occupies the entire third floor of the building, while Romanza has half of the first floor.

Mark Wilson, president and CEO, said continued demand for new homes necessitated the larger office space.

“We’ve recently expanded our workforce from 70 to 85 and expect to continue growing as a result of the strong housing market and London Bay’s continuing sales success,” Wilson said. “We’ve created a phenomenal working environment in the new building. It’s light, airy and open, and the space is organized to enhance team collaborations and give everyone a view outside.”

Combined, the new offices encompass more than 22,800 square feet and feature interior design embracing Southwest Florida’s less-is-more design aesthetic. Featuring the work of the homebuilder’s remodeling division and the Romanza interior design team, the new workspace offers a glass-enclosed conference room with frosted floor-to-ceiling windows, a table illuminated by six pendants, and an art wall featuring yellow and red glass reminiscent of Dale Chihuly.

The reception area features clean-lined furnishings with glass and metallic accents, upholstered seating built into walls and framed in wood, and contemporary-styled camel-hued leather chairs. Similar chairs circle a rustic wood table in a third-floor seating area, with windows overlooking palm fronds.

Open work spaces feature low walls with glass insets at eye level and exposed and paneled ceilings. Tables provide areas for collaboration.

“Our new office provides the environment and space we need to think, design and create,” said Wilson. “We’ve found it to be a fresh new approach to the corporate office environment.”

London Bay Homes was one of only two companies named America’s Best Builder by Builder Magazine in 2008. The company builds custom and semi-custom homes in intimate village neighborhoods from Marco Island to Sarasota priced from the $800,000s to more than $10 million in many of the region’s most exclusive neighborhoods and communities.
