NAPLES, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2014) – Homebuyers who missed the opportunity to see Mediterra’s fully furnished Eloro luxury villa model last season will have another chance. London Bay Homes has started construction of a second Eloro model, designed to impress with a painted box beam ceiling, jumbo pebble stone flooring, and tufted upholstered chairs in citrine tiger print.

The three-bedroom single-family villa model is located in Lucarno, a neighborhood reminiscent of a European village within Mediterra’s garden district of fountains and foliage. Mediterra is Naples’ premier golf and beach club community and Collier County’s eight-time community of the year winner.

Like the original Eloro – which sold for more than $1.6 million shortly after completion – the new model will offer an open great room with dining and seating areas, a study, three and one-half baths and 3,380 square feet of living space. It will emphasize al fresco living with a wall of pocketing sliding doors opening the great room to covered outdoor living and dining areas, a summer kitchen, and a custom pool located in a courtyard.

The model will feature tranquil, resort-inspired interior design with clean British Colonial overtones by Melissa Allen of Romanza Interior Design. The designer has selected a color palette of linen, paprika, smoke and citrine to emphasize the Eloro’s transitional style.

Finishes will include the pebble stone floor in the lobby, glazed porcelain tile flooring in main living areas, granite and marble countertops, and special ceiling and wall treatments.

The kitchen will feature painted white cabinetry, river white granite countertops and a linear Icelandic glass mosaic tile backsplash. The room also offers an oversized, freestanding island breakfast bar and Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.

The master suite has a large walk-in closet, and its bathroom features his-and-her vanities with marble countertops, a separate glass-enclosed shower, freestanding garden tub set in a bay window, and a private water closet.

The Eloro is expected to be completed in January 2015.

London Bay Homes is the exclusive builder in Lucarno, a picturesque neighborhood of cobblestone streets, fountains and 71 lakefront villas accented with tile, stone entry walls and authentic Old World architectural features. Landscape maintenance and lawn care are provided through the homeowners association.

The neighborhood is located adjacent to Mediterra’s Parterre Garden, the community’s largest neighborhood park with formal gardens, fountained lake views, sitting areas, and a large reflecting pond with decorative stone frog waterspouts.

Lucarno’s nine customizable floor plans offer two to five bedrooms and 2,900 to more than 4,000 square feet of interior living space. Each plan is designed with numerous options that allow buyers to customize their home by extending lanais and garages, adding bedrooms, dens or studies, and selecting indoor and outdoor fireplaces, summer kitchens, loggias, porticos and wine cabinets.

Home and homesite packages in Lucarno are priced from the $900,000s.

Mediterra received a 2013 Aurora Award for Best Residential Development in the Southeastern United States. The member-owned Club at Mediterra ranks as one of the top private clubs in the world by BoardRoom magazine.

The 1,700-acre community offers an array of lifestyle amenities, including two world-class Fazio-designed courses and the private 10,000-square-foot Beach Club on the Gulf of Mexico, featuring an elevated swimming pool, casual dining with a full bar, and valet service for beach chairs, umbrellas, and beverage and food menus.

Mediterra’s onsite amenities include themed neighborhood parks; eight miles of walking and jogging trails; a fitness complex with tennis and bocce courts, a pool and spa services.

A recent renovation project at the 32,000-square-foot clubhouse updated the interior design of the main dining room, expanded the Club Lounge and kitchen, and introduced al fresco dining options, an exposition kitchen and chef’s table.

The club and the Tavern on 18 offer formal and casual dining prepared by a staff of award-winning culinary experts. A fire pit was recently added to the outdoor seating area at the Tavern, which serves gourmet brick-oven pizzas, seasonal salads and open-air grilled entrées.

On the links, Mediterra is in the first year of a two-year $6.1 million project to replace the irrigation system, bunkers, cart paths and turf on its South Course.

Mediterra’s Golf Learning Center offers indoor and outdoor hitting stations, video equipment with launch monitor, a 2.5-acre short game practice complex with three greens, and a staff of certified PGA professionals. Membership opportunities at Mediterra are limited to only 225 members per 18 holes.

All of the community’s amenities are membership-owned.

Planned for 950 homes, Mediterra’s master plan includes more than 1,000 acres dedicated to open space with golf, parks and nature preserves.

Since December 2009, London Bay Homes and affiliates have managed all new home sales and marketing for the luxury community. Resale properties are listed through Mediterra Realty.

Available home designs in Mediterra include single-family estate homes and single-family maintenance-free villas priced from the $800,000s to more than $7 million.
