SARASOTA, Fla. (Dec. 23, 2015) – London Bay Homes has begun construction of its first luxury single-family waterfront estate model on Bird Key, an island neighborhood on Sarasota Bay between downtown Sarasota and St. Armands Circle.
The two-story Cedarberry, located on a canal that provides direct access to the bay, will emphasize outdoor and waterfront living with a new dock and seawall. The luxury model home will have four bedrooms, a formal dining room, study, four full baths and a powder room. The open great room floor plan will offer a private second-floor retreat for guests.
Sliding glass doors in the great room and kitchen café will open to a private lanai and outdoor living area offering a fully equipped summer kitchen.
The Cedarberry encompasses more than 4,500 square feet of living space and epitomizes Bird Key’s signature boating lifestyle complemented by wide waterways, easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, and sunrises and sunsets over the water.

Covered alfresco areas will overlook a large sundeck with a fire feature and the pool, created in a linear design with a spa at one end and a shallow water shelf for chaise lounges at the other. The pool also will have a water feature and a trio of stepping blocks connecting to the lawn along the canal.
The master suite and one of the guest rooms will be located on the first floor.
The master suite will offer his-and-her walk-in closets and a bathroom with a large glass-enclosed shower, a tub set in an alcove with windows on three sides, and a vanity with dual sinks separated by a dressing table.
The guest room will have a walk-in closet, and its full bath with shower also will function as the pool bath.
The gallery separating foyer and great room will lead to the staircase. The second floor will offer two bedrooms, two full baths, a loft and a morning bar.
The Cedarberry will feature coastal contemporary architecture and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2016.
