NAPLES, Fla. (Sept. 9, 2014) – London Bay Homes earned three awards for its work at Mediterra during the 2014 Southeast Building Conference, which covers an 11-state region.
For home design, London Bay earned an Aurora Award for its four-bedroom, four-bath Capriano model in the Lucarno neighborhood, a European-inspired village of cobblestone streets, lakes and villas within Mediterra. The Aurora Award evaluated the 4,402-square-foot maintenance-free villa’s overall architectural design, market appeal, floor plan and interior design by Romanza Interior Design.
The Capriano sold for more than $2.1 million within a month of its completion.
London Bay, which oversees sales and marketing at Mediterra, was also recognized with Excel Awards, sponsored by the Florida Sales & Marketing Council of the Florida Home Builders Association and presented during the SEBC.
The company’s second award recognized Mediterra’s e-newsletter. Produced by digital agency, The Bokka Group, the e-newsletter showcases the homes and lifestyle of Naples’ premier golf and beach club community, received an award for its creative strategy and use of media, among other criteria. Geared toward Realtors, the newsletter creates a buzz by announcing special events and highlighting both newly unveiled model homes and new homes for sale within Mediterra.
London Bay’s third award recognized the redesigned website at MediterraNaples.com for its ease in navigation, obtaining information and accessibility via mobile device or computer. Also designed by The Bokka Group, visitors to the website instantly view information about homes, the community lifestyle and amenities. The new design also allows visitors to search for homes based on criteria including neighborhood, pricing and square footage. A click-through option provides more details about the home, a floor plan and the ability to navigate to a detailed PDF showing available options in each home design.
Mediterra is recognized as a Distinguished Emerald Club, an honor attained by only the top five percent of private clubs in the world. A 2013 Aurora Award winner for best residential development within the Southeastern U.S., Mediterra is also an eight-time winner of the Collier Building Industry Association’s Sand Dollar Award for Community of the Year.
Available home designs in Mediterra include single-family estate homes and single-family maintenance-free villas priced from the $800,000s to more than $7 million.
