NAPLES, Fla. (Feb. 10, 2014) – The fast-paced rate of sales in Mediterra means only 82 new homebuyers have the opportunity to select a homesite, build a home and become a neighbor in the 1,700-acre award-winning community.
Collier County’s eight-time Community of the Year and Naples’ premier beach and golf club community has only 24 single-family estate and 58 luxury villa homesites remaining in seven of Mediterra’s intimate neighborhoods.
“Last year, we felt strongly that increased consumer confidence in the national economy and rising home prices would contribute to increased demand for new homes in Naples, and specifically new homes in Mediterra,” said Mark Wilson, president of London Bay Homes which, with its affiliates, has managed sales and marketing in the community since 2009. “Our activity during the past year has exceeded our expectations. We have 30 homes currently under construction in the community, and Mediterra is now more than 90 percent sold.”
Mediterra offers new homes in seven of the community’s 21 neighborhoods, which are carefully planned within conservation areas, golf fairways and lakes.
Single-family neighborhoods with remaining inventory include Cortile, Serata, Verona and Il Cuore. Cortile, which offers both single-family and villa homes, provides the most single-family inventory, with 11 homesites overlooking the golf course, lakes or nature preserves. The ultra-private Il Cuore features Mediterra’s largest property – a 1.5-acre site set amid 50 acres of nature preserves in a two-home gated neighborhood.
Maintenance-free villas are offered in Lucarno, Cortile, Terazza and Cabreo. Floor plans feature two- to five-bedrooms and dozens of customization opportunities to extend lanais and garages, add bedrooms, dens and studies, and select options such as indoor and outdoor fireplaces and summer kitchens.
Lucarno, a unique villa neighborhood reminiscent of a European village with cobblestone streets, lakes and gardens, has only 32 available homesites. “We have several south-facing homesites available with garden and lake views,” said Wilson. “These homes offer both sunrise and sunset views from the outdoor living areas. It’s a real focal point for our homebuyers.”
Numerous furnished model homes are available for viewing in Mediterra and represent both single-family and villa floor plans.
